I happened upon Batushka by clicking on a suggested video on YouTube and Yekteniya 3 was the one that I heard first. From there, I was hooked. Yektoniya 3 constantly haunts me to the point where I have to get my daily/weekly fix of it. Overall the whole Litourgiya album is perfection from start to finish. I am enamored by it all from the chants to the harsh vocals to the energetic guitar playing to the thunderous drums. Excellent!

A helpful but frustrated bird is trying to lead you through the thicket, warning you of the danger lurking in the underbrush, but no matter how hard you try, you lose your way in confusion. Beautiful, menacing, groovy. I love it.
